Welcome to Southside Steaks.
 

I am Marc, the owner and proprietor of Southside Steaks.

During the summer of 2002, I moved back to Pittsburgh from Boston.  On my travels, I decided to stop in Philly for a short visit with family.  While in the City of Brotherly Love, I frequented the local steak shops, and fell in love with the cheesesteak once again.  

Upon my arrival, I was craving the sweet taste of a cheesesteak.  I contacted friends and family throughout the city to help me locate a cheesesteak shop that would live up to the Philly name.

Verdict:  Not so much...

And so...my new adventure in life began.  It was my mission to bring Pittsburgh a quality Philly cheesesteak, offering great steaks in a relaxed atmosphere.

Now, we are entering our seventh year, and thanks to you, we are still going strong, adding new menu items on a regular basis, and looking forward to having you come in and experience
